Riddell unveils brand new alternate helmets for all 32 NFL teams

Bills "Blaze" Helmet

This helmet is way too blue, which is almost fitting since Bills fans are probably feeling blue after 17 straight seasons of missing the playoffs. 

Dolphins "Blaze" Helmet

Apparently, people love the color turquoise because the Dolphins' alternate helmet was voted the top new look in a helmet challenge that Riddell held on Instagram.   

Jets "Blaze" Helmet

It doesn't look like there was too much effort put into this helmet design, which is perfect, because the Jets don't look like they've put too much effort into fielding a winning team in 2017.  

Patriots "Blaze" Helmet

Bill Belichick would never let his team wear a red helmet, and that's probably mostly because he was wearing a red hoodie when the Patriots blew their undefeated season in a loss to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII. 

Ravens "Blaze" Helmet

The facemask might be the coolest part of the revamped Ravens' helmet. Note to the Ravens: The gold pants were ugly, but a gold facemask would actually work. 

Bengals "Blaze" helmet

When you haven't won a playoff game since January 1991, you should change everything you do. The Bengals probably should switch to this helmet even if a black tiger with orange stripes doesn't actually exist in nature. 

Browns "Blaze" Helmet

A Brown helmet for the Browns? Riddell might be on to something here. 

Steelers "Blaze" helmet

For the Steelers' alternate helmet, Riddell dumped the team's traditional black and went with a bright yellow. If the Steelers were allowed to wear these, it would probably work to their advantage because that yellow is so bright, it would blind the other team. 

Texans "Blaze" Helmet

The Texans play a game on Christmas this year and if they wore this helmet that would be perfect, since it basically looks like a giant Christmas ornament. 

Colts "Blaze" Helmet

I didn't think it was possible to spice up the Colts' helmet, but Riddell managed to do a fantastic job here. 

Jaguars "Blaze" Helmet

If this helmet can keep Blake Bortles from throwing interceptions, the Jaguars should beg the NFL to let them wear it this year.  

Titans "Blaze" Helmet

The Titans have great colors, which is why it's so sad that they waste them on the current white helmet that they wear. Someone get them to switch to this. 

Broncos "Blaze" Helmet

This helmet looks like it was designed to be worn with the Broncos' Color Rush uniforms. Hopefully someone makes that happen. 

Chiefs "Blaze" Helmet

If there's one NFL team out that's never embraced its alternate third color, it's the Kansas City Chiefs. They've never worn a yellow jersey, they've never worn yellow pants and they've definitely never even thought about wearing a yellow helmet, which is too bad because yellow is fun.  

Chargers "Blaze" Helmet

If the Chargers want to win over fans in Los Angeles, they just need to make everything powder blue, starting with their helmet. 

Raiders "Blaze" Helmet

The Raiders should switch to this helmet when they move to Las Vegas. Somewhat surprised that Al Davis didn't demand that his team wear a black helmet during his long stint as owner before dying in 2011.   

Cowboys "Blaze" Helmet

The Cowboys are one team that doesn't need an alternate helmet and that's because their best alternate is one that they can't even wear anymore: the white helmet they used to wear on Thanksgiving Day. 

Under NFL rules implemented before the 2013 season, teams are only allowed to wear one helmet per year, which is why you don't see multiple helmet colors per season anymore. 

Giants "Blaze" Helmet

The Giants have worn red uniforms, but they've never worn a red helmet. This helmet might be basic, but sometimes basic is cool, right?

Eagles "Blaze" Helmet

This looks too much like the Jets alternate helmet, and if we know one thing about the NFL right now, the Jets are the last team you want to emulate. 

Redskins "Blaze" Helmet

If Dan Snyder wants to distract everyone from the controversy surrounding his team's name, switching to this helmet might help. The Redskins actually had a gold Color Rush uniform in 2016, but they didn't get to wear it because they didn't play in a Thursday night game. 

Bears "Blaze" Helmet

If this Bears helmet proves one thing, it's that there's no such thing as "too much orange." 

Lions "Blaze" Helmet

The Lions will be wearing new uniforms in 2017, but unfortunately, they didn't switch their helmet. They're stuck with the boring silver helmet that they've been wearing forever. 

Packers "Blaze" Helmet

This helmet would definitely put the "Green" in Green Bay. 

Vikings "Blaze" Helmet

This helmet would be fun for one game, and that one game would have to be a Color Rush game. 

Falcons "Blaze" Helmet

Riddell put about as much effort into this design as the Falcons did into the second half of Super Bowl LI. By the way, if you haven't noticed, I'm not a big fan of the gray helmets. 

Panthers "Blaze" Helmet

No one wears more blue than sports teams in North Carolina, so this makes perfect sense as the Panthers' alternate helmet. 

Saints "Blaze" Helmet

The Saints have existed since 1966 and somehow have never worn a black helmet during a regular season game at any point during their franchise history. That needs to change ASAP. 

Buccaneers "Blaze" Helmet

The Buccaneers' uniforms are so ugly that this helmet would probably make them better. 

Cardinals "Blaze" Helmet

The Cardinals' helmets are cool until you realize that they're pretty much exactly the same as San Francisco's. 

Rams "Blaze" Helmet

The color on the Rams' helmet have been reversed, just in case you felt like something was different, but couldn't quite put your finger on it. 

49ers "Blaze" Helmet

The 49ers' helmets are cool until you realize that they're pretty much exactly the same as Arizona's. 

Seahawks "Blaze" Helmet

If the Seahawks ever wore this with their bright green Color Rush jerseys, your HDTV would likely explode.
