After missing the first two games of their playoff series against the Sharks, Cory Schneider will return to the starting lineup for the Canucks for Game 3 on Sunday night, the team announced.

Schneider had been out of the lineup with what the team called a "body injury" and was replaced by Roberto Luongo.

The Canucks lost both games on home ice, though it's hard to put much of the blame on Luongo, as he played well.

Still, getting Schneider back should be only good news for the Canucks as he was one of the best goalies in the NHL during the regular season, finishing with a .927 save percentage, fourth-best in the NHL.
