There are few players in the NHL that are as good as Wayne Simmonds is around the net. He proved that time and time again in Game 6 on Tuesday by scoring three of the Flyers' four goals in the first 35 minutes.

Simmonds got the scoring started with a goal on the power play in the first period, going to the dirty area and following up his own shot with a second chance that he slammed home.

Less than two minutes into the second period, Simmonds gave the Rangers a little cushion when he joined Brayden Schenn -- who did an excellent job of stripping Dan Girardi of the puck -- for a rush up ice. Simmonds drifted off to the side of the cage and was there when Schenn lost the puck and it just so happened to drift right over to Simmonds and he won't make any mistakes from there.

After Erik Gustaffson gave the Flyers 1 3-0 lead with a perfectly timed break from the box, the Flyers were right back on the power play and once again Simmonds was right around the blue paint. He was able to tip a shot past Henrik Lundqvist and with that the hats were flying.

By the time Simmonds was done with his hat trick there was still nearly half a game to go but it looks like a safe bet we'll have a third Game 7 on Wednesday night.
