UEFA Champions League picks for Benfica vs. PSG

Before you tune in to Wednesday's match, you need to see the UEFA Champions League picks from consummate soccer insider Jon Eimer. Eimer is a high-volume bettor who has vast knowledge of leagues and players across the globe. Since joining SportsLine, he has covered the English Premier League, Serie A, the FA Cup and much more. He is 243-225-7 overall on his soccer picks in 2022, including an astounding 37-20-1 on Premier League predictions for a profit of more than $1,400 for $100 bettors.

For PSG vs. Benfica, Eimer is backing both teams to score and over 2.5 goals. With household names like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappé, PSG's offensive potency is obvious. They are the highest-scoring team in their domestic league and just two clubs scored more goals than their five through the first two UCL Matchdays.

PSG has scored in all 12 of their games across all competitions this season. Meanwhile, Benfica has scored in 13 of their 14 matches, including five goals in their last home game. The Portuguese side is averaging 3.3 goals per home match, and the scoreboard should be lit up come Wednesday.

"We are in for a matchup between some of the best attacking powers in the world come Wednesday," Eimer told SportsLine. "And while the answer seems almost too obvious, I'm expecting goals in this one, as both teams want to find that separation at the top of the table."
