Saturday's La Liga clash between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid featured the two teams tied for first place in the league. It figured to be exciting, with attacking talent like Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez going up against a dominant defense of Atleti, which pressures and plays rough, providing some knocks to every team it plays. In the end, the match had no shortage of wild moments. Here's everything you may have missed in Barcelona's 2-1 win.

First, Atletico surprised with an early goal from Koke 10 minutes in.

Messi then found the net to bring things level 30 minutes in, making a good run to the middle of the box.

Suarez got a goal eight minutes later to put Barcelona up 2-1, and it proved to be the winning goal.

And then Felipe Luis of Atletico was shown a red card for a horror tackle on Messi late in the first half.

Atletico, battling back, nearly equalized but Barca goalkeeper Claudio Bravo made a tremendous save.

In the second half, Atletico was then reduced to nine men as Diego Godin was shown his second yellow card.

There were no goals in the second half as each team went for more, as Barcelona secured a big boost to its league campaign with a big win over a direct rival, while providing quite a bit of entertainment.
