Heading into Monday night's Raw, Cody Rhodes had told Bloodline member Solo Sikoa that he was "not ready" for their one-on-one match. Rhodes backed up those words when he picked up a win in the main event and ended Sikoa's undefeated streak on the main roster.

The two men went all-out in their battle, which nearly was turned in Sikoa's favor after The Usos made their way to ringside. Rhodes was saved by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, however, which allowed him to pick up a huge win less than a week before he challenges Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE universal championship in the main event of WrestleMania.

CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Footprint Center in Phoenix.

Cody Rhodes ends Solo Sikoa's undefeated streak

During an interview, Cody Rhodes was asked if he was putting himself in a vulnerable position by facing Solo Sikoa six days before wrestling Roman Reigns for the undisputed WWE universal championship. Rhodes said he loves being in this position before reiterating his previous statement that Sikoa is not ready for him and that the match is just another step on his journey to defeating Reigns to become champion.

Cody Rhodes def. Solo Sikoa via pinfall with Cross Rhodes. After a back-and-forth match, The Usos made their way to ringside in an attempt to tip the scales for Sikoa. That move was quickly answered by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, who stormed ringside and brawled with the Usos, with the four men eventually brawling to the back. Back in the ring, Rhodes countered the Samoan Spike by turning Sikoa into the Cross Rhodes for the pinfall.

There wasn't much on the show in terms of major developments, instead simply putting final building blocks in place ahead of WrestleMania. Rhodes going over Sikoa in a solid match was good, however. Sikoa gassed out a bit down the stretch but this was a bigger ask for him than he's used to. Rhodes picked up a big win that helped him build some final momentum ahead of the match with Reigns and that's valuable. Grade: B+
