Our Trade Value Chart is designed to assist you in making fair trades in your standard-scoring or PPR leagues. The values assigned are a long-term measurement of their Fantasy value. By adding two players' values you could determine which single player you might be able to get in return. This should also work as a "Rest of Season" Rankings.

There were a lot of amazing performances by the Broncos in the first game of Week 1. Wes Welker proved he could still be a reliable receiver, as did Demaryius Thomas. Peyton Manning's seven touchdown performance also was one for the ages. But it might have been the unknown at tight end that scored the Broncos' first touchdown that drew the most interest from Fantasy owners.

So what is the going rate for a third-year tight end that most people either took with a late pick or completely overlooked on Draft Day?

Julius Thomas sets up to be one of the best waiver bargains and potential trade pieces Fantasy owners can cash in this week. After scoring twice and pasting the Ravens for 110 yards on five catches, it's safe to say he's probably not going to keep up this kind of production. So it makes sense to sell high.

It also makes sense to be interested in acquiring him. Not everyone landed an athletic tight end with a great quarterback on Draft Day. Thomas, at least for now, looks the part of a difference maker with good potential from week to week. Not 110-yard and two-score potential but at least six or seven points per. Plenty of teams in every league have a need at tight end and could offer something good for him.

Whether you need him or not, pick him up off waivers if you can. Deal him if you don't need him. Some people already have -- here's a sampling of actual trades involving Thomas in CBSSports.com leagues:

Julius Thomas and Matt Forte for Ray Rice and Pierre Garcon: This looks like highway robbery for the owner getting Rice and Garcon. There isn't much of a downgrade at running back but I'd feel safer going with Garcon every week than Thomas.

Julius Thomas for Larry Fitzgerald: Insane. Thomas is good but Fitzgerald is as established as they come. If some goofball in your league is willing to give up Fitzy for Thomas, make that deal in 0.01 seconds.

Julius Thomas for Torrey Smith: For who these guys are right now, this is a fair deal. Smith didn't have a brilliant Week 1 but has plenty of upside as the top dog in the Ravens passing game. Thomas did have a great Week 1 but doesn't have the long-term potential -- or it least it seems that way right now. For owners looking for a win-win deal, this works.

Julius Thomas and Tavon Austin for Roddy White: This is an interesting one considering White's injury status. The Falcons receiver came out and said it would take him a while to be back in his usual form. That dashes his value for the time being, but most believe White will eventually heal up and be great. Those desperate for wins (and maybe a tight end) could pawn off White for Thomas and another receiver just as quickly as owners who had Thomas as a backup could upgrade at wideout. The trade's close in value but it works.
