Who's Playing

Michigan State @ Loyola Chicago

Current Records: Michigan State 3-1; Loyola Chicago 4-0

What to Know

The Michigan State Spartans will take on the Loyola Chicago Ramblers at 11 a.m. ET on Wednesday at Imperial Arena at Atlantis Resort. Both teams seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.

MSU was the big favorite in their most recent game, and for good reason. They made easy work of the Eastern Michigan Eagles this past Saturday and carried off an 83-59 win. The Spartans got double-digit scores from four players: forward Marcus Bingham Jr. (19), forward Malik Hall (15), guard Max Christie (13), and forward Gabe Brown (10).

Meanwhile, Loyola Chicago strolled past the Illinois-Chicago Flames with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the matchup 80-63.

The wins brought MSU up to 3-1 and Loyola Chicago to 4-0. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: MSU have been holding their opponents to a field goal percentage of 35.20%, which places them 26th in college basketball. But the Ramblers enter the contest with a 53.80% field goal percentage, good for third best in college basketball. We'll see which of these strengths -- offense or defense -- will win out.
