Who's Playing

No. 5 UCLA @ Washington

Current Records: UCLA 7-1; Washington 4-4

What to Know

The Washington Huskies haven't won a game against the #5 UCLA Bruins since Feb. 2 of 2019, but they'll be looking to end the drought on Sunday. Washington and the Bruins will face off in a Pac-12 battle at 3 p.m. ET at Alaska Airlines Arena. UCLA will be strutting in after a win while the Huskies will be stumbling in from a defeat.

Washington came up short against the Winthrop Eagles on Saturday, falling 82-74. Forward Emmitt Matthews Jr. had a pretty forgettable game, finishing with 12 points on 5-for-13 shooting in his 36 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, UCLA strolled past the Colorado Buffaloes with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the contest 73-61. UCLA got double-digit scores from four players: guard Tyger Campbell (21), guard Johnny Juzang (15), center Myles Johnson (12), and guard Jules Bernard (10).

The Huskies are now 4-4 while the Bruins sit at 7-1. A couple offensive numbers to keep in mind before tip-off: Washington has only been able to knock down 39.30% percent of their shots, which is the 22nd lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. UCLA's offense has more to brag about, as they they rank 24th in college basketball when it comes to points per game, with 82.9 on average.
