Who's Playing

Western Michigan @ Notre Dame

Current Records: Western Michigan 4-6; Notre Dame 4-5

What to Know

The Western Michigan Broncos will head out on the road to face off against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at 8 p.m. ET on Monday at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center. The Broncos should still be feeling good after a win, while Notre Dame will be looking to regain their footing.

WMU didn't have too much trouble with the Aquinas College Saints at home this past Friday as they won 67-56.

Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish came up short against the Indiana Hoosiers this past Saturday, falling 64-56. Guard Blake Wesley had a pretty forgettable game, playing for 31 minutes with 5-for-16 shooting.

WMU have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 21.50 point spread they are up against. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the squad is 2-4 ATS when expected to lose.

WMU is now 4-6 while Notre Dame sits at 4-5. A couple stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Broncos are 19th worst in college basketball in turnovers per game, with 15.9 on average. The Fighting Irish have experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the contest with the 29th fewest takeaways in college basketball, having accrued only 11.2 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
