In 2018, Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship Game en route to Nick Saban's seventh national championship appearance as head coach of the Crimson Tide. Running back Josh Jacobs ran for 83 yards and had two touchdowns in the 35-28 conference championship win. Just over a month later, Alabama was trounced by Clemson in the College Football Playoff Championship, and Jacobs was held to just 47 rushing yards in a 44-16 loss. Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship again this season, however, unlike 2018, Georgia was able to keep the Crimson Tide running back Brian Robinson Jr. to just 55 rushing yards ahead of his breakout 204-yard performance against Cincinnati in the Cotton Bowl.

Robinson's over-under rushing total is listed at 70.5 yards, according to the latest Alabama vs. Georgia player prop bets on Caesars Sportsbook. Top Alabama vs. Georgia prop picks for 2022 CFP National Championship

One of Sallee's top college football prop picks for Monday's 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship: He's backing Georgia running back James Cook to go over 23.5 receiving yards (-115).

Cook has become a valuable receiving option out of the backfield for quarterback Stetson Bennett. He had a whopping 112 receiving yards against Michigan. He had 28 in the first matchup against Alabama as well. Many of the games he didn't hit this total were total blowouts, and you can expect Bennett to look his way often as Georgia tries to mitigate Alabama's pass rush with screens and quick throws on Monday.

"Cook had 112 receiving yards and a touchdown in last week's Orange Bowl semifinal win over Michigan, and he should breeze over the 23.5 mark on Monday," Sallee told SportsLine. "He has eight catches over the last two games and has 28 or more receiving yards in three of his last four games vs. FBS opponents."
