Cincinnati's Butch Jones is busy this week. He is being courted by Purdue and Colorado, reportedly interviewing at both schools Sunday and Monday, respectively. There's also word that Jones has made at least one decision about his future.

He will not be the next head coach at Purdue, according to GoldandBlack.com.

What isn't known is whether Jones will be coaching at Cincinnati or Colorado next season. Colorado has reportedly made Jones an offer of $13.5 million over five years.

Jones is scheduled to appear at Cincinnati's bowl press conference Tuesday afternoon, but he will not be discussing his future at the school. Word is that Jones could make a decision about his future as soon as Tuesday night, though it would seem somewhat odd for Jones to return to Cincinnati for a press conference about his team's trip to the Belk Bowl only to announce he was leaving the school a few hours later.

As for Jones' decision to turn down the Purdue offer and what this means for the Boilermakers coaching search, it's unclear where the school will turn to next. Its top two targets were Dave Doeren and Jones, and neither will be taking the job.

Kent State's Darrell Hazell, Louisiana Tech's Sonny Dykes and Western Kentucky's Willie Taggart have all been mentioned as candidates for the job, but the amount of contact Purdue has had with any of them is unknown. It's also possible the Boilermakers could look to the NFL for their next coach.
