Commitment videos have become a big hit in recruiting. But no video got the movement going quite like four-star safety Deontay Anderson committing to Ole Miss in a skydiving video from Bleacher Report last year.

Anderson now has competition for best commitment video, and it comes courtesy of four-star defensive end Tahj Rice. The Kentucky native announced he was committing to Duke in an exclusive superhero-style video posted by the Louisville Courier-Journal.

A few things of note ...

First of all, props to Duke for landing a blue-chip over the likes of Oregon and USC. But really, the graphics are what sell the piece. The originality of the superhero theme is also legit, as is the nickname “T-Nasty.”

As far as commitment videos go, this one is the early leader for the best one of the year. Seeing as these videos are everywhere now, it’s only safe to add that more will be on their way.
