The Angels claimed Ege off Waivers Friday.
After being picked up by the Angels, Ege was optioned to their Triple-A affiliate in Salt Lake. Before being acquired by Los Angeles, Ege had spent most of the season at Triple-A New Orleans, where he owned a 4.50 ERA and 1.57 WHIP.
