Moreland went 2-for-5 with two home runs, two RBI and three runs scored Thursday against Cleveland.
Moreland went yard in the fifth and ninth frames, contributing to the Athletics' 17-run offensive outburst Thursday. He now has nine home runs on the season, with this being his second multi-homer effort. Moreland hadn't gone yard since July 16, and he had collected only five hits in 32 at-bats in that span. Though he has become primarily a bench bat after the team acquired Josh Harrison, Moreland could be in line for more at bats if Harrison's quad strain keeps him sidelined.
