Braves' Andrew McKirahan: MRI on tap

McKirahan is scheduled for an MRI on Thursday to help determine the cause of his arm tightness, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.

McKirahan had to leave the mound Wednesday after tossing single-digit pitches, so this precautionary move comes as no surprise. Look for more information to be released on the lefty reliever once the team makes the results public.
