Cubs' Alex Sanabia: Signs minor league contract with Cubs

Sanabia has signed a minor league contract with the Cubs, Phil Rodgers of MLB.com reports.

Sanabia's last appearance in the majors came in 2013 when he made 10 starts for the Marlins over 55.3 innings. He's spent his time in the minors since then, and will likely join Triple-A Iowa.
