Giants' Scott Kazmir: Placed on restricted list

Kazmir was placed on the restricted list Monday for personal reasons, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Manager Gabe Kapler said Monday that Kazmir has returned home to attend to a personal matter. It's not yet clear when the 37-year-old could return to the team, but left-hander Conner Menez was added to the active roster to take his place in the bullpen.
