Rays option Ali Solis to Triple-A Durham

The Rays optioned catcher Ali Solis to Triple-A Durham after Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Solis' roster spot is going to Ryan Hanigan, who is expected to return from the disabled list Wednesday. Solis ended up making eight appearances with the Rays, going 0 for 6 at the plate.
