Tyler Colvin ready to join Fresno

Left fielder Tyler Colvin has otped for a spot with Triple-A Fresno over free agency. He was designated for assignment by the Giants on Friday.

Colvin managed just four hits in his last 23 at-bats and his current .280 on-base percentage is its lowest of the season.
