Smith was dealt to AHL San Antonio from AHL Toronto on Wednesday, Dhiren Mahiban of The Canadian Press reports.
Smith will join the Rampage on a permanent basis just a season after he was traded from Colorado to Toronto at the top level. He will stay at the AHL level, however, and is unlikely to gain fantasy relevance anytime soon.
