Bartkowski signed a professional tryout contract with the Flames on Wednesday.
A smooth-skating blueliner, Bart had been playing for AHL Providence within the Bruins organization. Over 34 games, he produced a pair of goals with eight helpers and 27 PIM. While it appears that he'll latch on with the club beyond the tryout, his fantasy prospects remain limited as a depth player.
