Tkachev was recalled from AHL Ontario on Thursday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Tkachev was held scoreless in three games after notching two assists in his NHL debut earlier this season. He also tallied an assist in his lone game with AHL Ontario. The 26-year-old winger could continue shuffling between levels somewhat regularly.
