Fleury was waived by the Kraken on Saturday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
The 22-year-old defenseman was always going to be a long-shot for the big club's Opening Night roster. If Fleury passes through waivers unclaimed, he'll likely be assigned to AHL Charlotte to begin the 2021-22 season, although he could be a candidate for a call-up during the campaign.
