Glencross was released from his professional tryout contract on Sunday, the Canadien Press reports.Glencross split 71 games between the Flames and Capitals last season, finishing with 12 goals and 22 assists. The 32-year-old veteran looked to have a solid shot at making the opening night roster, but Glencross instead has been sent packing. Considering the experience he has, he may very well get a shot from another NHL team, otherwise expect him to sign with an AHL team in the meantime.
