Davidson (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Friday by the Oilers, John Shannon of Sportsnet reports.
Davidson is stuck in a rut, extending his goalless streak to 29 games. Over the time span, the 24-year-old has added just three helpers. When healthy, the defender was averaging almost 18 minutes of ice time per night prior to his injury, but offers little in terms of fantasy value considering his lack of offensive production.
