Kase (concussion) signed a one-year contract with HC Litvinov of the Czech Extraliga on Sunday.
Kase played in only one game with Carolina last season after suffering a concussion Opening Night versus Columbus, but it appears he's now healthy. The 27-year-old forward has picked up 57 goals and 124 points in 258 career NHL contests, but he may spend the rest of his playing days overseas.
