Imama signed a one-year, two-way contract with Ottawa on Saturday.
Imama saw action in five NHL games with the Coyotes in 2022-23. He failed to pick up a point in the NHL but had five goals and 15 points with AHL Tucson in 50 contests. Imama is feisty and has picked up 287 PIM in his last 104 AHL contests.
