Trouba (lower body) will be back in the lineup Saturday versus the Coyotes, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post. Trouba, who will return from an 11-game absence, will probably play alongside K'Andre Miller in Saturday's contest. • Rangers' Jacob Trouba: Questionable Saturday

Trouba (lower body) remains a question mark heading into Saturday's matchup with Arizona. Coach Peter Laviolette told reporters, "We're still working through some things with him," Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports. Trouba has been out of action for the Rangers' last 11 contests due to his lower-body injury. Prior to getting hurt, the defenseman was stuck in a 23-game goal drought during which he registered six assists, 51 shots and 65 hits. With Erik Gustafsson (upper body) unavailable, Zac Jones will likely remain in the lineup if Trouba can't play.

Trouba (lower body) isn't likely to play against Colorado on Thursday, according to Jim Cerny of Forever Blueshirts. Trouba hasn't been in the lineup since March 4. He has three goals, 22 points, 52 PIM, 164 hits and 170 blocks in 60 outings in 2023-24. Trouba is expected to serve in a top-four capacity once he recovers, but the 30-year-old will likely have a minimal role on the power play.

  • Rangers' Jacob Trouba: Dishes helper in Wednesday's win

Trouba had an assist, three shots, two blocked shots, one hit and a plus-1 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets. Trouba showed off his two-way ability Wednesday, even though the physical blueliner's hit total was lighter than usual. His helper came on the second of New York's empty-netters, as Trouba moved the puck to Artemi Panarin, who lifted the puck into the vacated net from the Rangers' blue line to round out the scoring. Asked to play more of a stay-at-home role in New York, Trouba has come nowhere near his 2018-19 career high of 50 points with the Jets since joining the Rangers, and he's at 21 points through 58 games in 2023-24.

During that stretch, the 29-year-old blueliner managed 27 shots, 25 hits and 24 blocks while averaging 21:19 of ice time. Zac Jones figures to be dropped from the lineup with Trouba back in action.

Trouba will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Saturday for elbowing the Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev (upper body) on Friday. • Rangers' Jacob Trouba: Shows grit in narrow win

Trouba registered an assist, three hits and six blocked shots in Sunday's 2-1 win over the Capitals. This was a dogged effort from Trouba, who is starting in the offensive zone just 36.7 percent of the time, a career-low mark through his 11 years of service time between the Jets and Rangers. He's added three goals and 14 assists to go along with 101 hits and 132 blocked shots through 42 games, but the Rangers no longer require his services on the power play as yet another downgrade to his fantasy prospects.

Trouba (personal) will play in St. Louis on Thursday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post. • Rangers' Jacob Trouba: Absent from practice

Trouba was not in attendance for Tuesday's practice session due to personal reasons, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports. Trouba's absence shouldn't be an immediate red flag for fantasy players, as the Rangers won't return to action until Thursday's matchup with St. Louis. Still, the Michigan native appears to have rediscovered his offensive game of late, notching a goal and two assists in his last five contests. If Trouba were to miss any time, Zac Jones would likely find himself back in the lineup.
