Adam Scott has been lights out on the PGA Tour this season. Two wins in his last three events. Four straight top 15 including three top twos. He's been incredible. Tiger Woods, on the other hand, hasn't played.

It's unfortunate because it would be fun to see Scott (and guys in his generation) take on Woods. They weren't always ready for him.

"None of us were really prepared or ready for what Tiger was to do just as we turned pro -- when all of a sudden someone was playing golf like no one had ever seen ... maybe ever," Scott told Golfweek recently.

Scott turned pro in 2000 which, you might recall, was a decent year for Woods.

“It was all good being these young kids with a talent, but with no clue on how to utilize it like Tiger utilized his. We were a long way behind where Tiger was,” Scott said, “and I think that hurt us all in our 20s, for sure, and I’m not surprised that maybe we didn’t succeed (until) our 30s.”
