The west coast swing begins for the PGA Tour this week as we get an appetizer to the entree next week when Tiger Woods tees it up in San Diego. The CareerBuilder Challenge is a fun, laid-back tournament that includes amateurs with the pros for the first three days.

Originally called the Bob Hope Classic and played with bigger celebrities and more rounds (five instead of four), this tournament is not what it used to be. But if Phil Mickelson and Co. have anything to say about it, the tourney will someday return to its former glory. Low scores and stunning scenery, both of which we will get this week, never hurt anything.

Here's a look at the schedule of events so you can watch all the action. (Updates will be made as weather dictates.)
