Donald Trump wants golf to be elitist. He's going to be the only one left at some point.

The PGA of America and Trump mutually decided to move the 2015 Grand Slam of Golf, which was to be held at Trump National in Los Angeles, to a yet-to-be-determined site.

Trump had previously made some pretty interesting remarks about Mexican immigrants (which you can Google). Here's what the PGA of America statement said:

"The PGA of America met with Donald J. Trump yesterday and the parties mutually agreed that it is in the best interest of all not to conduct the 2015 PGA Grand Slam of Golf at Trump National Los Angeles."

Here's the AP on why it was mutual.

Trump and the PGA of America met Monday. Both groups said they mutually agreed not to hold the Grand Slam of Golf at Trump National Golf Club in Los Angeles on Oct. 19-21.

Trump said because of the backlash over his comments he does not want the PGA of America to deal with any consequences.

ESPN also moved its ESPY celebrity golf tournament away from Trump's Los Angeles course. It's going to be interesting to see if the PGA Tour does anything with the Cadillac Championship and what the PGA of America decides to do with the 2022 PGA Championship.

Both are played (or will be played) on Trump courses.

Jordan Spieth and Martin Kaymer are the only golfers currently in the Grand Slam of Golf event later this year.
