CHICAGO -- Game 5 of the 2016 World Series will take place Sunday night and it looks like we won't need the "weather permitting" tag. With the Indians holding a 3-1 series lead over the Cubs, here's the weather report from Wrigley Field (via weather.com):

Cold, but dry!

The temperatures look to range from 49-52 with the wind blowing in from left field or left-center in the ranges of 5-7 mph. So while it will be blowing in, this isn't a heavy wind game. These are still pitcher-friendly conditions, though, given the cold and the direction of the wind.

As for rain, we shouldn't see any unless it sneaks up on the weather people. The chances of rain through most of the game show zero percent, with a 10 percent chance at 9 p.m. local time, which is two hours after the game starts. Still, 10 percent is awfully low.

Quick and dirty: This game will be played and it looks like pitcher-friendly conditions. Of course, Game 3 looked like the opposite and it ended up 1-0. Baseball!
