  • Brewers' Danny Reynolds: Joins Brewers

The Brewers purchased Reynolds' contract from the Atlantic League on Saturday.

  • Braves' Danny Reynolds: Inks minor league deal with Braves

Reynolds signed a minor league contract with the Braves on Friday, Matt Eddy of Baseball America reports.

Reynolds began the season in the Angels organization, but was released in late June after posting a horrific 31:24 K:BB ratio across 33.2 innings. His performance drastically improved when he headed to the American Association independent league, where he posted a 15.2 K/9 and a stellar 1.7 BB/9 in 14 appearances. It might be tough for the 25-year-old to crack the Opening Day roster, but the Braves are likely hoping that he'll continue to develop in their minor league system and take his high-strikeout ways to Atlanta in the near future.

  • Angels' Danny Reynolds: Clears waivers and receives outright to Triple-A Salt Lake

Reynolds cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Salt Lake on Monday, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports.

Reynolds was subject to waivers after being designated for assignment on Friday but no team pursued him so he remained with the Angels. The 25-year-old then accepted an outright on Monday to head to Triple-A Salt Lake where he will continue his 2016 season. The RHRP gave up 10 earned runs over 16 innings with Double-A Arkansas earlier this year so it will be interesting to see how he performs after moving up a level in the Angels' farm system.

  • Angels' Danny Reynolds: Designated for assignment

Reynolds was designated for assignment by the Angels on Friday.

The Angels brought Reynolds in on a waiver claim early in the season, but he struggled in 11 appearances with Double-A Arkansas (5.62 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, 15:12 K:BB), and the team decided he was no longer deserving of a spot on the 40-man roster. He will now be subjected to waivers, but the 25-year-old may ultimately accept an outright assignment back to Arkansas.

Reynolds was claimed by the Astros in December after posting a 4.57 ERA in 43.1 innings pitched at the Double-A level in 2015. The 24-year-old will have to spend more time developing in the minor leagues before getting a chance at the MLB level.

  • Astros' Danny Reynolds: Optioned to minor league camp Monday

Reynolds was optioned to minor league camp Monday, Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Reynolds only appeared twice for the Astros this spring, but he gave up three hits and walked two batters in those two innings he pitched. The right-hander didn't appear above Double-A last season, so he'll likely spend some more time at the upper levels of the minor leagues before he gets another crack at major league hitters.

  • Astros' Danny Reynolds: Claimed by Astros

Reynolds was claimed off waivers by the Astros on Wednesday, Howard Chen of CSN Houston reports.

Reynolds struggled through his 2015 season at the Double-A level, posting a 4.57 ERA and 1.44 WHIP over 43.1 innings in the Angels' organization. After being claimed by the Dodgers earlier in the offseason, he's now with his second team via waiver claim. The 24-year-old seems a likely candidate to begin the campaign at the Double-A level, but could work his way up to Triple-A with a good campaign. However, it seems unlikely he'll make much of an impact at the major league level.

Reynolds spent all of last season at Double-A in the Angels' organization, working to a 4.57 ERA with 50 strikeouts in 43.1 innings. The 24-year-old could progress up to Triple-A this season with the Dodgers, but he likely won't make much of an impact with the major league club.
