One of the main reasons Dwight Howard left the Los Angeles Lakers to join the Houston Rockets in 2013 was because of James Harden. Howard strongly believes that Harden is a one-of-a-kind talent and recently took to Twitter to praise his teammate with a very high compliment.

Taking an informal poll on Twitter, Howard called Harden "the best left-handed player ever," and wondered what people thought of his opinion.

Howard's praise of Harden was met with a lot of disdain, especially since the Rockets center seemed to dismiss other great left-handers like David Robinson, Chris Mullin, Bill Russell and Willis Reed.

Interestingly enough, Howard did give some recognition to Russell earlier which prompted one Twitter user to question his logic. Howard cleared up this issue by clarifying that he thinks Harden is the greatest left handed shooter of all-time.

It is tough for Howard to call Harden the best left-handed shooter ever, especially when Mullin has higher field goal, 3-point and free-throw percentages. Harden is definitely the best left-handed shooter currently in the NBA but debates like this are always entertaining which is why Howard decided to spend a summer day engaging fans about his opinion on his teammate.
