Through 3 Quarters

Both the Atlanta Hawks and the Indiana Pacers have kept the scorekeepers busy with 198 between them three quarters in. It's looking more and more like Atlanta's high-powered offense is just too much for Indiana as the Hawks lead 105-93.

Atlanta has been led by point guard Trae Young, who so far has shot 7-for-10 from downtown and has recorded 41 points and five dimes. A double-double would be Young's fourth in a row. One thing to keep an eye out for is Clint Capela's foul situation as he currently sits at four.

Indiana has enjoyed the tag-team combination of small forward Terry Taylor and power forward Isaiah Jackson. The former has 16 points in addition to four boards, while the latter has dropped a double-double on 14 rebounds and ten points along with two blocks.

Indiana has lost 86% of the time when they were down heading into the fourth quarter this season, so this one seems just about wrapped up

What to Know

The Atlanta Hawks' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Indiana Pacers at 7 p.m. ET March 13 at State Farm Arena. The Hawks are out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.

Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Atlanta beat the Los Angeles Clippers 112-106 this past Friday. Atlanta's point guard Trae Young did his thing and dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 dimes in addition to five boards. That's the third consecutive game in which Young has had at least 11 assists.

Meanwhile, Indiana strolled past the San Antonio Spurs with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the contest 119-108. It was another big night for Indiana's shooting guard Tyrese Haliburton, who posted a double-double on 19 points and ten assists.

Atlanta is the favorite in this one, with an expected 12-point margin of victory. Now might not be the best time to take the Hawks against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past four consecutive games.

Their wins bumped Atlanta to 32-34 and the Pacers to 23-45. We'll see who can continue their climb to a .500 record.
