The Indiana Pacers are adding a little frontcourt depth for their playoff push as they've added center Kyrylo Fesenko, Ben Golliver of CBSSports.com confirms.

Fesenko's signing was first reported by SI.com.

The Pacers had more cap room than other teams and were able to go above the veteran minimum for Fesenko, according to SI.com. Fesenko also reportedly considered signing with the Celtics.

The 25-year-old Russian big man hasn't played in the NBA this season, last appearing with the Utah Jazz last year in 53 games. He's listed at 7-1 and will give the Pacers some bulk and brawn on the inside to go along with Roy Hibbert and David West. He also helps fill the void left by Jeff Foster, who retired this week because of injuries.

Last season Fesenko averaged 2.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in 8.6 minutes for the Jazz.
