LeBron James had a rather interesting shirt choice on Tuesday, showing up to a media appearance donning a St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish shirt (his high school alma mater) with a logo patterned around the luck of the Leprechaun -- much like his next playoff opponent, the Boston Celtics. But this Leprechaun had a halo over its head. (R.I.P., Celtics title hopes, maybe?)

Oh come on, this is a coincidence, right? Probably. But James has a history of subtly trolling his opponents with shirts, like this one from after winning the championship and topping the Warriors last season. Unsurprisingly, he denied intent that the shirt was a trolling move towards the Warriors. Even though the words "ULTIMATE WARRIOR" in all caps couldn't be seen as anything else.

Do we really think the best player in the world, who has a plan for virtually everything in his life, just happened to wear a shirt with a Leprechaun and a halo above its head? Just plucked it from the drawer as he made his way into the office today?

Well, maybe. I suppose you can judge that for yourself. But with just a day until the Eastern Conference finals tips, the timing here is suspect at worst, and a petty move from LeBron at its absolute best.
