While driving in Georgia at a reported speed of 107 miles per hour, new Indiana Pacers big man Jordan Hill was pulled over and arrested for alleged speeding reckless driving. It was reported that several people called into 911 to report Hill's speeding and according to the office, when Hill was pulled over and asked why he was driving so fast, he answered that he was in a hurry.
Mike Petchenik of WSB-TV in Atlanta tweeted out dash cam footage of part of the stop and arrested of Hill, who was shirtless in the video.

Hill signed a one-year, $5 million deal with the Pacers in the offseason. He was signed to add some depth to a thin frontcourt after David West signed with the San Antonio Spurs and the Pacers traded Roy Hibbert to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Pacers president Larry Bird issued a statement on the situation regarding Hill's arrest.

The Pacers are the fourth team Hill has played on in his career as he enters his seventh season in the NBA.
