Stephen Curry's incessant chewing of his mouthguard has become a regular occurrence during Warriors games. It has become so commonplace, in fact, that Curry's in-game antics have even been captured for NBA2K16.

Since it is such a big part of Curry's on-court aesthetic, an enterprising fan is auctioning off one of the MVP's game-used mouthguards.

From ESPN's Darren Rovell:

SCP Auctions, which is based in California, said it obtained the mouthguard from a fan who picked it up off the floor by the Warriors bench after a game this season.

"Steph Curry has given more life to mouthguards than any player in history," said Dan Imler, vice president of the auction house. "The way he flips it in and out of his mouth has become part of watching him during a game."

Imler expects the mouthguard to sell for at least $5,000.

The amount of $5,000 for a used mouthguard seems like a lot of money, but it just goes to show how popular Curry is these days. People want anything Curry touches or apparently puts in his mouth.
