The Washington Wizards typically have all the answers at home, but the San Antonio Spurs are posing a tough problem. It's still tight after three quarters, with the Spurs leading 84-78. Both teams won their last games, so San Antonio is looking to continue their success while spoiling Washington's.

San Antonio has enjoyed the tag-team combination of shooting guard Derrick White and center Jakob Poeltl. The former has 22 points and five assists along with five rebounds, while the latter has posted a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards in addition to two blocks. This makes it three consecutive games in which Poeltl has had at least ten rebounds.

San Antonio has yet to string together two consecutive wins, but this may be their chance. For now, all signs point to yes.

The San Antonio Spurs are 9-3 against the Washington Wizards since November of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success Monday. The Spurs will take on Washington at 8:30 p.m. ET at AT&T Center after having had a few days off. If the game is anything like San Antonio's 146-143 win from their previous meeting in April, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

San Antonio beat the Boston Celtics 96-88 this past Friday. San Antonio's point guard Dejounte Murray did his thing and posted a double-double on 29 points and 11 boards in addition to six assists.

Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks typically have all the answers at home, but this past Saturday Washington proved too difficult a challenge. The Wizards managed a 120-114 victory over the Mavericks. Washington can attribute much of their success to shooting guard Bradley Beal, who had 26 points and seven assists along with five rebounds.

The Spurs are expected to lose this next one by 3.5. Those playing the odds have seen things go back and forth with San Antonio, who are 9-9 against the spread.
