Offensive tackle Jake Long has signed a one-year deal with the Falcons that has a play-and-pay structure with no guaranteed money, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

The nature of this deal, with a good chunk of the money tied to incentives, indicates that Long's market has dried up for teams looking to take any risk on the 30-year-old, former first overall pick.

It's a low-risk deal for the Falcons, who will probably wait a while for Long to get into shape before working him into the depth chart. Long isn't likely to overtake Jake Matthews, but he could have a shot at time at right tackle if Ryan Schraeder underperforms. That is, of course, if Long can stay healthy.
