These aren't your father's Oakland Raiders. And based on the new mascot the team is unveiling these aren't Al Davis' Raiders either.
Darren Rovell of ESPN reported Sunday evening that the Raiders are introducing the world to "The Raider Rusher," perhaps the most inept-looking mascot the world's ever seen.

In all seriousness, there's no way that Al Davis would be OK with this. There must be some reason why this is happening (i.e. this can't actually be the Raiders new mascot). Is it somewhat OK that it's a part of Nickelodeon's "NFL Rush Zone"?
The Raiders have been bad for a long time but they've at least always had the imagery of yesteryear. This clownshow is the absolute opposite of boisterous swagger.
