NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is not the most popular guy in the world. Players have made no secret of the fact that they're not big fans of him, and fans haven't exactly warmed up to him over the years, either.

It should come as no surprise, then, that when Goodell walked out onto the stage in Philadelphia to open the 2017 NFL Draft, he was greeted to a chorus of raucous boos. Philly fans did not hold back.

The fans in Philly don't even reserve their good will for Santa so a controversial figure like Goodell getting a chilly reception was pretty predictable. He tried to do his best David Stern impression and playfully encourage the crowd to keep booing him, but he couldn't pull it off nearly as well as the sardonic former NBA commissioner.

Goodell is likely in for a round of boos every time he comes to the stage on Thursday evening. It could be a long night for the commish.
