The Vancouver Canucks and Nashville Predators will be heading back to the Music City for a Game 6. The Predators were able to pull out a Game 5 win on Tuesday night to extend their season for at least a few more days.

The Predators faced elimination in Game 5, and they were on the ropes following a gut-wrenching loss in Game 4. In that one, Nashville held a 3-1 lead with less than three minutes to play, but Canucks forward Brock Boeser scored twice with the extra attacker to send the game to overtime. Just over a minute into extra time, Elias Lindholm buried the game-winner to give Vancouver a 3-1 series lead.

The Canucks had their eyes on advancing to the next round in Game 5, and it looked like there would be handshakes after defenseman Nikita Zadorov broke the ice early in the third period. However, the Predators fought back and pulled off a comeback of their own with late goals from Roman Josi and Alexandre Carrier, and fans will be treated to a Game 6 in Bridgestone Arena on Friday night.
