WWE No Mercy 2017: Card, matches, start time, date, kickoff show, rumors

SummerSlam is in the books, but WWE is not wasting time with its booking, immediately putting two of the hottest matches the company could book into its very next pay-per-view. A month removed from WWE's second-biggest PPV of the year, No Mercy will go down live on Sunday, Sept. 24 from Los Angels.

The event will begin with a kickoff show at 7 p.m. ET before the PPV itself starts at 8 p.m.

2017 No Mercy matches

Universal Championship -- Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman: Straight away after SummerSlam, Lesnar and Strowman squared off on Raw and made a match for No Mercy. Though it may seem fast for this match to go down considering how over Strowman is with the crowd, WWE is likely booking it to combat the return of the NFL.

John Cena vs. Roman Reigns: It seemed like this was a tease, but Cena and Reigns signed the contract for their match on Monday Night Raw in a hot segment. It will be interesting to see how they book this forward.

Women's Championship -- Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax vs. Emma vs. Bayley: A one-on-one match was expanded to a Fatal 4-Way after Jax/Emma beat Bliss/Banks in a tag team match. It then became a Fatal 5-Way just days before No Mercy when Bayley returned and was added for no good reason.

Tag Team Championship -- Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins (c) vs. Sheamus & Cesaro: The challengers decided to use their rematch clause for the pay-per-view.

Intercontinental Championship -- The Miz (c) vs. Jason Jordan: Thought Jeff Hardy might get another chance at first, but Jordan is headed to a showdown with Miz after all the big matches he's been put through as of late on Raw.

Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt: Thought this was over? Apparently not. Wyatt interfered in a recent battle royal, eliminating Balor before disappearing into the night.

Cruiserweight Championship: Neville (c) vs. Enzo Amore: Despite being the newest member of the cruiserweight division, Amore has cheated his way to a fast title shot.

Elias vs. Apollo Crews (Kickoff Show): This match was added on Friday. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
