An SEC showdown features the Mississippi State Bulldogs (12-4) going on the road to take on the Florida Gators (10-6) on Wednesday night. Mississippi State rolls into this matchup on a two-game win streak. The Bulldogs beat Alabama 78-76 on Jan. 15. Florida ended its three-game skid in a matchup against South Carolina. The Gators beat the Gamecocks 71-63 on Jan. 15.

Guard Phlandrous Fleming Jr. is second on the team with 10.9 points, along with 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals. Fleming Jr. is shooting 36 percent from beyond the arc and has knocked down at least two 3-pointers in six games. The Georgia native is coming off a 14-point outing in the win over South Carolina. He shot 6-for-11 from the floor and knocked down two 3-pointers.

Mississippi State is looking to secure its third straight SEC contest. The Bulldogs pulled out a close victory over Alabama last time out. The Bulldogs held the Crimson Tide to 39 percent from the field and forced them to commit 15 turnovers. Mississippi State capitalized on those mishaps and had 22 points off of turnovers.

The Bulldogs had three players who scored in double figures. They were led by junior guard Iverson Molinar. He dropped 24 points, six rebounds and four assists. Graduate student forward Garrison Brooks, a UNC transfer, tallied a double-double in the win. Brooks had 16 points, 10 rebounds and shot 6-for-12 from the field. Sophomore guard Shakeel Moore added 15 points with five rebounds in the victory. All three players average more than 10 points and will look to lead Mississippi State to their fourth straight game.
