The Temple Owls have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Drexel Dragons at 2 p.m. ET Dec. 18 at Liacouras Center. Drexel will be strutting in after a victory while the Owls will be stumbling in from a defeat.

The contest between Temple and the UCF Knights on Wednesday was not a total blowout, but with Temple falling 65-48 at home, it was darn close to turning into one. Guard Damian Dunn wasn't much of a difference maker for Temple; Dunn finished with ten points on 3-for-12 shooting in his 35 minutes on the court.

Meanwhile, Drexel netted a 76-69 win over the Coppin State Eagles on Tuesday.

Barring any buzzer beaters, Temple is expected to win a tight contest Saturday. Now might not be the best time to take the Owls against the spread since they've let down bettors for the past two consecutive games.

Temple is now 6-5 while Drexel sits at 5-5. Two stats to keep an eye on: Temple has only been able to knock down 39.90% percent of their shots, which is the 22nd lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. Drexel has experienced some struggles of their own as they have allowed their opponents to shoot 45.50% from the floor on average, which is the 40th highest shooting percentage allowed in college basketball. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
