Who's Playing

San Jose State @ No. 8 Texas

Current Records: San Jose State 1-3; Texas 2-1

What to Know

The San Jose State Spartans are staying on the road Saturday to face off against the #8 Texas Longhorns at 6 p.m. ET Nov. 20 at Frank Erwin Special Events Center.

SJSU was just a bucket short of a win on Thursday and fell 67-66 to the California Baptist Lancers. The top scorers for the Spartans were center Ibrahima Diallo (16 points) and guard Trey Smith (14 points).

Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the game between Texas and the Northern Colorado Bears on Wednesday was still a pretty decisive one as Texas wrapped it up with a 62-49 victory at home. Forward Tre Mitchell (16 points) was the top scorer for Texas.

SJSU have to know they'll be fighting an uphill battle given the 27 point spread they are up against. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 3-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

Texas' victory lifted them to 2-1 while San Jose State's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll see if the Longhorns can repeat their recent success or if the Spartans bounce back and reverse their fortune.
