WATCH: UCLA recruit LaMelo Ball calls halfcourt shot and drills it
Neither confidence nor range is an issue for any of the Ball brothers
UCLA recruit LaMelo Ball doesn't lack confidence. If that name sounds familiar, it should. LaMelo, the younger brother of UCLA frosh Lonzo Ball, is another Chino Hills (Calif.) star doing insane things on the hardwood.
The program won it's 47th straight game on Monday. But that wasn't the headline. It was LaMelo Ball, who committed to UCLA when he turned 13, calling his shot Babe Ruth-style and pulling up from halfcourt like Steph Curry to drill it.
No big deal, because that's what you do when pretty much anything goes on offense. That's a good shot for Ball, who has made a habit of raining deep 3s.
LaMelo is a 2019 recruit -- making him a high school sophomore. Shots like this may not go over well at UCLA, but it's fun to watch.
By the way, his other brother, LiAngelo, dropped 65 points in the 131-100 win over Foothill. Insane.
